About Truckee Meadows Quilters
Truckee Meadows Quilters (TMQ) was founded in 1978 by a small group of women interested in the art of quilting. For the past 46 years, our members have been changing lives – one quilt at a time.

Since its inception, TMQ has shown a deep sense of responsibility to our community. Members are passionate about volunteering and donating to organizations that provide services to those in need. TMQ members have made and donated thousands of quilts for a number of local community services groups throughout the years.
Purpose Statement
The purpose of TMQ shall be to encourage and promote quilt making and related arts, through educational opportunities, lectures, demonstrations, workshops, and classes. TMQ sponsors and supports charitable quilting activities and promotes the appreciation and knowledge of quilts.
