Quilt Show 2024
Each year, TMQ organizes and produces a quilt show for the community. The event showcases members’ work while encouraging the love and appreciation of quilting.
TMQ partnered with Quilt Show Reno in 2024 for their June show held at the Grand Sierra Resort. More than 160 quilts made by guild members were on display for the three-day event that welcomed more than 2,000 visitors.
In addition to the quilts:

​More than 150 baskets filled with fabric and sewing-related items were raffled.

Featured quilter Wendy Romaggi exhibited 15 amazing quilts.

Handmade items for purchase were available at the Boutique booth.

2023 Show Block quilts were revealed (quilts created from take-and-make blocks given to attendees at the 2023 TMQ Quilt show). Blocks for the 2025 show were also distributed.

Attendees voted on their favorite quilt and chose Purple Dahlia by Lupita Mahoney.
Quilt Show Reno 2025 is scheduled for June 5-7.
The quilt on the left was voted as Viewer's Choice.
"Purple Dahlia," made by Lupeta Mahoney, is a paper-pieced quilt designed by Judy Niemeyer.
2023 Show Block Quilts: These six quilts were made from block kits distributed at the TMQ 2023 quilt show. Attendees took a kit to create the block, returned the finished block to TMQ, and members assembled the quilts. These quilts were then donated to local charities.
