TMQ Education

The Education Committee is dedicated to the enhancement of the quilting experience. 

We recognize that members include everyone from the most basic beginners to expert quilters. Sharing techniques and experiences is a time-honored tradition, and is done during classes, workshops, and the Show-And-Tell segment of the monthly meetings.

Free workshops for members are held twice a month (see CALENDAR for dates and times). Special one- and two-day classes are offered for a nominal fee throughout the year. Professional teachers periodically present classes for an additional fee.
 

The guild also features a Block-of-the-Month learning opportunity. Instructions for a new block are included in each Newspatch – the monthly newsletter. Blocks made during the month are displayed at meetings. Members who contributed one or more blocks are entered into a drawing, and the lucky winner is awarded all the entered blocks.
